An evening of music in support of evacuees from the Bradley Creek and Bald Range wildfires. Proceeds will go toward supporting evacuees at Camp McKenzie, the Naramata Centre, and the North Okanagan Community Foundation's wildfire relief fund. The music will feature a variety of acts from choral music, to classical guitar, original tunes, and a set of all-star musicians playing standards from the jazz tradition.
The concert came about when several members of First Community wanted to step forth to do something to help our neighbours in need, for the evacuees Bradley Creek and Bald Range wildfires. With conversation, several community partners, First Community, The Salmon Arm Jazz Club, Voice of the Shuswap, and many individual musicians decided to come together to raise funds to directly support the evacuees.
