The First United Worship mission is expressed as follows:

All who choose to connect with the church will have life-giving worship experiences of belonging, celebration, spiritual nurturing, challenge and learning – opportunities to open ourselves to God, to others, and to ourselves.

Individuals work with our minister to manage our worship practices. These individuals play an essential role in each service: reading scripture, receiving the offering, preparing the elements and serving communion, greeting, etc. They also have responsibility for overseeing the decoration of the sanctuary and its furnishings for services.
